Way Back When-esday

Cheryl over at Twinfatuation hosts this one. Go on over to see who else is playing – and join in too!
This one was taken 3 years ago…September of 2006…during a visit to Vermont.

Book Review: The Lost Symbol

Cross-posted on my new My Opinion Matters blog!
I just finished reading The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown, so I figured I’d put a few thoughts together. And I’m going to try to do with without any spoilers…if I spoil it for you, I’m sorry!! (And let me know so I can reword it…)
I’m a fan [...]

Makes My Monday: Drawing Class

We got a call on Friday telling us that Burke’s drawing class might be cancelled due to low enrollment.
Burke being able to attend his very first drawing class Makes My Monday!

Cheryl over at Twinfatuation hosts this one. Head on over to see what else makes people’s Mondays (there are always some really good ones!)

Sicky Sunday

Normally I’d be putting up a Baby Picture Sundays post but I just don’t have the energy today. The entire house is sick…I suppose that’s what happens when your kids go back to school and the weather starts changing.
The kids are coughing, I’m coughing. The kids are sleeping more than normal, Mike’s letting me sleep [...]

Saturday Snapshot: Favorite Tree

Cheryl over at Twinfatuation hosts this one too. Go over and have a look at what others are doing on this beautiful Saturday.

Fx4: Octopus

Candid Carrie sponsors this one – head over to her blog and find LOTS of links for bloggers who’ve joined in! (You can join in too!)
I know I saw this on another blog…Cat’s maybe?? …it was a while ago and I’ve been meaning to try it out ever since I saw it. . .  Let’s [...]

HAPPY

Birth Day to my new little niece who hasn’t been named yet.
My sister had a little girl yesterday at 4:55 pm. All we know so far is that she arrived weighing 8lbs 6oz and 21 inches long and that she has beautiful dark hair.
Congratulations Sharon and Jason! (And big brother, Grey)

Random Updates: Dancing, Grapes, Birds, and Fish

I have all these pictures and updates that relate to nothing but themselves, so I figured I’d just do one big post about them all.
Dancing
Remember last week? Marjorie wanted a skirt for dance class? Well, mom that I am…I couldn’t say “no”

(Yes, she has crocks on…we’re still in the car here [...]

Way Back When-esday

Cheryl over at Twinfatuation hosts this one. Go on over to see who else is playing – and join in too!
Apparently my one-on-one time with my Dad started really young! (He used to show me how to use a new tool every week.) I think this has to have been taken in late 1975 or [...]

Re-Evaluation

Logan had his Early Intervention re-evaluation today. Ms. Speech had said she knew he’d qualify for the speech part again (barely) and he does. What’s always amazing to me is watching him do things at these evaluations that I had no idea he was capable of doing! (It always amazes me to hear all of [...]
